Please join us for a Composting talk presented by fellow Garden Club member and Master Composter, Nora Weber.

Nora will discuss the dos and don’ts of composting, breaking it down to simplify home composting and reduce food waste.

May will also be our plant exchange, so bring some plants you have to share and grow them in your garden!

May will also be our Officer votes, so please volunteer if you would like to be more involved next year. The more the merrier!

Please join us for our first meeting of the season. Master Gardener Stephen, from Dig Some Dirt the Garden Gnome will discuss seed saving for an economical way to grow plants the following season, using last year's crop seeds.

The Club will also update members about the summer events.

Our Annual Wreath-Making Meeting. This will be the entire meeting.

What to Bring:
- ribbons
- wreath molds
- scissors
- wire
- cones
- greenery
- glue gun
- anything you think would look good on a holiday wreath.
After the meeting, stick around to make holiday swags for the elderly and donate them to Mid-Lane Cares, so everyone can get into the holiday spirit!

The club will have a plant exchange. Bring your extra starts, the leftovers from thinning your seed-starts, in individual, labeled containers to share with club members.

Join us at Janine’s for a herb bundle-making party for our giveaways at the Veneta Harvest Festival.
What to bring, if you have it:
peppermint
spearmint
rosemary
lemon verbena
camomile
lavender
rose essential oil *
lavender essential oil *
sachets for the herbs *
We’ll have fun putting the herb bundles together for our annual Harvest Festival community outreach and club promotion.
